2023 Scholarship Recipient Winner

I heard about this scholarship through US Tool, When I turned in my diploma and paperwork for completing my Machine Tool Technology degree. Jessica David had asked me if I would be willing to apply for this scholarship at first, I told her no because I had just gotten done with my 2-year degree and had no intentions on going back for anything further. I went home and thought about what I could do with it and where I could go. I decided it would be a great opportunity to further my education and role inside US Tool.

This scholarship has given me the drive and determination I needed to better myself and my family. It has also given me motivation, and self-confidence I needed to not settle for less. It has given me opportunity in the career I want to be in and knowledge in the career to do my best. I can be proud of myself knowing I didn’t give in/up at just one degree. With this money I not only went back for engineering design and drafting I took it a step further and got an engineering manufacturing degree as well. I can testify that a mom and wife at the age 34, working 45+ hours a week can do anything they set their minds to with just a little motivation and determination. Thank you USCTI for the opportunity you gave me on my journey furthering my education.
