The Institute is guided and led by the Board of Directors, elected by the membership. he Board, in turn, elects a President, a Senior Vice-President, and a Vice-President who comprise an Executive Committee, empowered to act on behalf of the Board if necessary and also between meetings. A Secretary/Treasurer is retained by the Board to coordinate and manage the Institute and its finances.

All Institute activities are closely monitored by Institute legal counsel in order to ensure strict compliance with all applicable antitrust laws.
