About USCTI > USCTI Scholarship Program > Alex Pomesky

Alex Pomesky, Allied Machine & Engineering Corp.

2024 Scholarship Recipient Winner

I first heard about the scholarship through an HR email detailing the scholarship while interning for Allied Machine & Engineering during the school year. Through the help of my project manager and mentor as an Intern I applied for the scholarship and later won it. The money from the scholarship went towards my senior year of college at Ohio Northern University where I am working towards a BSME degree with a minor in computer science.

I started Interning with Allied Machine & Engineering after my sophomore year of college in the ADDAMS (Automated Drill Design And Manufacturing Systems) Department. I started in the group and quickly developed a strong liking for not only the work but the subject matter as well. The scholarship has opened a lot of doors for me, and I am very thankful for all of it, and I hope this scholarship continues to provide this experience for more to come.
